The Brisco Experience
Classes & academics
A national curriculum taught to an international standard, in small, well-structured classes where every child is stretched and supported.
The standard
GES Plus, delivered with real rigour
We teach the Ghanaian national curriculum, the same one your child would meet in any GES school, but with the structure, pace and care of a top international school. We call it GES Plus.
Learning is standards-based. Teachers plan to clear NaCCA outcomes, assess against a five-level proficiency scale, and report progress in plain language a parent can act on.
- NaCCA-aligned lesson planning and assessment
- Continuous class assessment alongside end-of-term exams
- A strong reading and numeracy foundation in the early years
The journey
A clear path, from Creche to Junior High
Each stage builds on the last, so children move up ready and confident.
Creche & Nursery
A gentle, playful start where little ones learn through routine, song and safe exploration.
Kindergarten
Early literacy, numeracy and social skills, building the habits that make school a joy.
Lower Primary
Reading, writing and number sense take root, with phonics and daily practice.
Upper Primary
Deeper subject work and independent study, preparing pupils for junior high.
Junior High
Full NaCCA subjects and BECE-focused teaching, with strong exam discipline.
Small classes
Structured class sizes so every child is known, questioned and helped by name.
How it works
What every term delivers
Continuous assessment
Class scores and exams combine into one fair, transparent grade.
Report cards to your phone
Clear proficiency report cards each term, sent straight to parents.
Homework & notes online
Teachers post notes and homework families can view and submit online.
Positions & remarks
Honest class positions and teacher remarks, no inflated marks.
“We do not chase marks. We build understanding, and the marks follow. Every child leaves a lesson knowing a little more than they did walking in.”
